NEVER TYPE WHILE VIDSPEED IS RUNNING!! the keyboard handler takes away time
and can skew your results. If you run VIDSPEED over and over you should
get exactly the same results if run in the same environment (some resident
programs can slow your machine down, as well as some device drivers).
